CNSA Update: January 2009

  2. Safety Seminars were held at Cisco Grove on Jan. 10 and at Springvale, Cal on Jan 17th….. update to follow

  4. Jonesville Warming hut and “inn” is complete…. What A place…. See the pics on line and in the next Snow Tracks….. Hats off to the Butte Meadow Hillsliders…..This Project is amazing….

  5. Grooming:  2 new PB 400 Snowcats where delivered as Replacements at AshPan and Bogard on the Lassen NF… The old PB260 from Ashpan was moved to the Silver Bear 2 weeks ago to try to improve the System there.

  6. Safety :::::  CNSA Safety Director Richard Brightman  Received delivery of a new enclosed Triton trailer thru Kent Lisko of Triton this week…. This trailer will be outfitted with Safety info, CNSA info. And an amazing Graphics package on the exterior in the coming months. This will be used at all events, safety seminars, trade shows to promote Safety education thruout Calif. And Nevada…..

  7. Budget Crunch….. we are still safe, but the OHV Trust Fund Acquisition Account of 90 million dollars was just hijacked by the Governor…. This fund is a set aside for Real Property purchases.  Money is to be paid back with interest…. But, as this is the second time, we won’t hold our breath..

  8. Last issue of Snow Tracks is being prepared… please forward some Club stuff to Erin Lunn as soon as possible…. Everyone wants to know what is going on throughout the Organization.

  9. Membership….. please take the time to renew or ask others to join CNSA this season…. In spite of a bleak economy, your membership is important to further the constant battle to maintain the opportunity that we all Appreciate and some times just assume will always be there…..

  10. Bear Valley / Mt Reba….. Snow weekend…..   Tenanitively, CNSA, the Bear Valley Snowmobile Club and Mount Reba Ski Resort will open the Slopes of  the Ski resort after the Closing of the Ski Season for one weekend this year to snowmobilers….. more info to follow….

  11. Jan. 24th….. Cisco Grove, CA, on Highway 80…. Dealer Demo day (pending snow )  Come check out all  the sleds and ride….. all day event…. Parking charge is required…. Event is free…… Thanks to the Martin’s for their continued support….

  12. CNSA Awards…. We are requesting nominations under guidelines posted on the CNSA.net website for annual awards to be presented at Convention….. please forward nominations to Fred Wiley or Jay Dobler , no later than Feb. 10, 2009
